Take down the holiday decorations
Although some people take down their holiday decorations during the first days of the years, there are others that tend to procrastinate. Taking down your tree and putting away your indoor décor is important, but you’ll also want to remove any lights you have hanging on the exterior of your home.
Declutter
If your plan is to move from a larger home to a smaller one, now is the ideal time to start downsizing. Decide which furniture will be coming with you and which items you want to sell or donate.
